A LONG-ESTABLISHED Turkish Restaurant is enjoying a new lease of life after being taken over by new owners.

Following a major refurbishment, it re-openedits doors last year under the new name of Lydia Meze & Grill, and has been delighting diners ever since.
The 70-seater restaurant has an extensive menu offering a vast selection of both cold and hot meze such as baba ghanoush -grilled aubergine with lemon juice, tahini, garlic and yoghurt- and Turkish Pizza (Lahmacun) topped with minced meat, onions and peppers.
There are seafood dishes to choose from including grilled salmon or sea bass and prown casserole, a variety of vegetarian choices, and an extensive list of main courses from mixed grill, lamb shish and peppered lamb, to the restaurant”s very own Lydia Special – a selection of lamb and chicken shish, chicken wings, lamb chops, lamb ribs, chicken beyti and Adana lamb kofte.
There is also a variety of kebabs and a selection of salads, side orders and Turkish Dessert including baklava and sutlac.
The family-run restaurant, whose owners have more than 25 years experience, also offer a takeaway service and a delivery service from 4 to 10pm for orders £17.50 or more.
Lydia Meze & Grill welcomes diners from 11am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday and 11am to 10pm on Sunday.
